My identity is like a bhelpuri. My mother tongue is Konkani, I’m a Hindu with a Christian name. Both my parents are Konkanis. I live in Bangalore while my hometown is Cochin.
I’m more interested to know whether at the end of this phase he’ll look at me as a friend to confide in or party with, because I want to be all that for him. That’s my end goal. Some challenges are welcome.
Being with my kids gives me a high. No matter what stress or tensions I have, once I enter the house the kids are just jumping around me like little puppies, and that makes everything bearable. They look beyond the good, the bad or ugly, and see me as what I am.
I feel the corporate culture encourages one to have a mask on at all times. During the week, it damages the soul for the first five days, and for the remaining two, one tries to repair that damage.
