Public parks are great places to do interviews. There’s so much life around, and yet it is always possible to find a relatively quiet spot to do an interview. Anonymous male and Poorva found their quiet spot, and as evening joggers started flowing in, so did conversations between the two on flings, condoms and paid sex. Read this interview because reading anything on sex is always super fun.

Why did you decide to give us an interview on sex?
I love sex. After travel, this is the next thing I love.
You are always on the go because of your travel. How do you have sex?
I receive quite a few invitations from strangers to hook up.
What is your sexual orientation?
I believe I am a bisexual, but I am yet to figure it out. If someone pays me a decent amount to have sex with a guy, I will try it out.
So you will do it for the money?
No, not for the money. I mean I am not sure if I like it or not. If someone gives me the money I will try it out to see if I like it.
Which means so far you have had sexual encounters only with girls?
Yes, but a guy friend and I smooched each other in the disc for 20 seconds or so 5-6 times, and I was comfortable.
Coming back to the girls, you get invitation to have sex from complete strangers…
Yeah, especially after the media coverage that I received. Girls are obsessed with travelers and motorcyclists and when they hear stuff about my motorcycle travels, they contact me…but I can’t spend too much time with a girl. I can chat with a girl at the most for a day; if she is ready to hook up after that I will do it. Sometimes I know a girl will hook up with me within two days of convincing her. I am fond of sex, I like it. But I can’t give much time to strangers to get comfortable.
Tell us how some of these girls approach you.
It starts with, “Hi. When are we meeting up?”; “You can stay at my place after dinner,” means sex.
Have you had any experience with paid sex?
Yes, I have had. There is a place called Barog in Shimla. I was travelling with a friend and we were staying in a hotel. I wanted to have sex so we googled for escort services. We called them up, we settled on a price, and the girl came from Chandigarh to Barog. My friend did it first, but when I came to the room, I just couldn’t do it. I don’t know why. It’s not that I felt odd or uncomfortable, or it felt morally wrong…nothing like that. But I just wanted to chat with her and know her story. I thought this was a good opportunity for me to talk because I wouldn’t get this chance again.
Do you have any other similar experiences?
There is one more. I went to Agra when I was in 8th or 9th grade. I told my cousin to take me to a brothel. When I went there, there were so many women that I got scared and ran for a kilometer. I don’t know what happened to me. I couldn’t do it. When it comes to paid sex, I just can’t do it.
I think that’s a very good thing…How old were you when you first had sex?
I was 20-21. Back then, I had the mentality that I will have sex only with the girl I want to marry. I had many opportunities of having sex, but I avoided them. When I had a girlfriend, and was pretty sure about her, I lost my virginity to her. We broke up after 4 years. For two years of our relationship, we fought over sex. She was not good at it. That was the main reason for our breakup. I told her the reason. Sex is very important in my life. It makes me happy. I asked her to consult a sexologist, or try out things with other men.
Why did you ask her to experiment with other men?
I insisted she do it with other men so that she could figure out what’s not working between us. It could even be our compatibility issue.
I am sure this didn’t go down too well with her. I would be offended too…I hope you have safe sex.
Yes, I do. I used to have unprotected sex with my girlfriend many times, but now I always use condoms.
Do you carry condoms with you?
Yes, I carry condoms with me. I keep 4-5 in my wallet all the time (laughs).
The last question has nothing to do with your interview topic, but we ask everyone we interview – what does love mean to you?
Umm…(long pause) actually there are two driving forces in life: one is logic and second is love. Love is way stronger than logic. Love can kill anything.
Can you give me an example?
Take my travel for example. I love to stay happy and travelling this way makes me happy*. That’s why I am doing it. There is no logic.
When I started, I had no idea I would be written about in newspapers, or people would like us or follow us. We would still do this if all this wasn’t there. That is love.
