We interview everybody. A balloon-vendor, a top doctor, a retired government official, a domestic help, a homemaker, a salesman, an actor, a sex worker, or an executive with one single request – speak to your heart’s content. The interviews are audio-recorded and transcribed subsequently. The interviews are edited only for grammatical errors and repetitions. We want the interviews to reflect the personality of the interviewee and therefore, while editing we take special care to stay as true to the recorded interview as possible. However, sometimes interviewees may share intimate and personal details, or express views that may hurt the sentiments of a larger community, and we use our discretion to omit any such sensitive information.
The interviewees’ opinions are based upon data they consider reliable, but neither Interviewing India nor its affiliates warrant its completeness or accuracy, and it should not be relied upon as such. Considerable time may have passed between the date of the interview and the date of publishing on the website. We do not take responsibility for the up-to-dateness of the interviews.
