The teachers at the school would punish my son for not doing well in class. There was no violence, but the punishments affected him mentally. When I and my husband realized what was happening, we put him in a local day school. With a smaller group of kids per class, we thought he would receive better attention from the teachers there.
Being with my kids gives me a high. No matter what stress or tensions I have, once I enter the house the kids are just jumping around me like little puppies, and that makes everything bearable. They look beyond the good, the bad or ugly, and see me as what I am.
